Business Services:

We visit businesses (and homes, see below) in order to;

  • Maintain networks
  • Repair faults
  • Install networks and computers

Businesses often find it helpful to take out a maintenance contract where we commit to visiting on a regular basis.

The interval between visits is specified by the customer and could vary from 3 times a year to weekly.
We believe the frequency depends on;

  • Critical nature of I.T. in the business.
  • Complexity of the I.T. set up.
  • Turnover of staff.
  • Training requirements.

Emergency callouts may be substituted for scheduled visits if required to minimise your costs.

For routine visits we allow a standard time averaged over the year per PC. An emergency call out would be set off against the relevant equivalent time for routine calls.

Where an individual PC appears to be faulty we encourage customers to bring the machine in to us. If you have a contract we will collect free of charge whichever is quicker.

Our workshop rates are of course cheaper than our call out rates so this keeps your costs down. We have a wider range of facilities, spares and staff available too. Probably three quarters of individual PC problems are software related today. The diagnosis and / or remedy is usually time consuming. Running software leaves the technician unoccupied for long periods

Home Services:

We are pleased to offer call-outs to home users. As explained above a problem with an individual PC is usually better tackled initially in the workshop. Putting the machine back online should be a simple matter after viruses and spyware has been eradicated and Windows errors corrected.

PC Builds:

We build PCs to our customers individual specification and are delighted to advise on the appropriate kit for particular tasks.

  • Playing intensive computer games? - decide the right graphics card and processor.
  • Editing videos? - look for extra memory and storage.
  • Home business machine? - separate the kids and business securely, and make backups of your work.
PC Components:

We hold a limited range of components in the shop for immediate sale, use in builds and repairs. Our online store holds a comprehensive range of generic and branded components at competitive prices.
Including, but not limited to;

  • USB adapters (Bluetooth, network, additional USB ports, WiFi and pen drives
  • Internal PCI, AGP, PCIE cards (network, SATA, graphics, sound, USB.. just about anything
  • Switches, hubs, routers (wireless routers for your home/business network)
  • DVD/CD readers/writers
  • Peripherals (keyboards, mice, game pads)
  • Hard drive caddies (turn any disk into and external USB drive)
  • RAM, processors, hard disks, motherboards and other critical components
  • More components are available upon request
